Thorin announces consulting partnership with Guild
The organization co-owned by David Beckham has secured the services of the British analyst as it makes its entry into CS:GO.
Duncan "?Thorin?" Shields has entered a consulting partnership with Guild in order to help the British organization create its CS:GO division and establish itself in the game, the veteran analyst has announced on Twitter.
"I will help Guild develop their model for building the team and advise on players and staff I think appropriate to aid them in establishing themselves as a significant force in this part of the industry," Thorin said to explain what his role as a consultant will entail.
"As we move to a phase more closely resembling a traditional sports structure with proper coaching staff it is only logical that General Managers build teams to their vision with the help and expertise of those who know the scene and the players they will select from."
Mostly known for their ties with former football star David Beckham, Guild are a publicly-traded esports organization launched in 2019 who currently compete in Rocket League, FIFA, and VALORANT. In Riot Games' tactical shooter, Guild are represented by a Swedish team that includes former fnatic and NiP player William "?draken?" Sundin.
