u might say flair checks out but with fair judgment s1mple was more impressive, given the fact that he had little room for error (as you can see CTs are swarming him), it's a much more pressured situation compared to zywoo, he had lots of time to work with and have much more room to isolate players, both are impressive though, it's just that the s1mple was much more under pressured and he stayed compose, literally 0 room for error

zywoo literally had the option to save his awp, but he went for it. On the other hand, s1mple didnt have the option because he's stuck in the middle of long waiting to be a shooting gallery for 4 cts with rifles, but he pulled it off. It looks and it sounds like it's easy but that high pressure situation, only small amount of players can handle, players like s1mple. Just imagine his headset that time, hearing lots of footsteps and he should remain calm and hit all his shots, sick enough.

Having the option to save means the clutch is even less likely.
S1mple had a bombsite for free, and had people peeking into him. Zywoo had to peek 3 people.
Zywoos play involved more creativity, more reads, and more awareness.
Simple had more pressure than Zywoo imo and Zywoo had 4 1v1's.....but I think any other player would have saved the weapon Insane play

?4 liquid players just ran 1 by 1 against s1mple instead of double peaking an awper + elige still whiffed + he legged stewie but luckily he was already low. s1mple's clutch is flashy, but it has a good amount of luck and enemy misplay in the mix. also as I mentioned before, he had all the players going to his crosshair while zywoo isolated each 1v1 without information and on lower hp. both great clutches, but zywoo's is just harder

listen bro , he picked the bomb immediately , killed one guy on short , planted then astralis gave him 2 1v1 in which he has to hit 2 ez shots whereas in s1mples case if he missed 1 shot or even hit a slower shot , hes dead .. why ? people can easily kill him , hes in open position , whereas , in zywoos case that wasnt the case...he had cover which helped even when he missed the no scope i wont recommend u a doctor cuz ur an hopeless case

Blind fanboy, you really said I contradicted myself but then say s1mple could've easily died. That's the point, Liquid could've easily killed s1mple but they threw it by peeking one by one, whereas in the zywoo clutch he isolated the frags and went for peeks. S1mple would've died 90% of the rounds in that scenario, Liquid just got overwhelmed and gave him the clutch.
ZywOo "had cover" bro he got a kill on B, A short, CT and then A short again. He found himself the cover he needed cause he outsmarted the opponent and knew how to work his play on 1hp.

ZywOo didn't get handed 4 1v1s. He was actively peeking and isolating 1v1 fights, that's how you win clutches. He was on 1 hp when a single nade would have finished him off, he aggressively took fights to deny that coordinated play. s1mple on the other hand got peeked one by one by lulquid. Liquid didnt "want 1v1s" they just played it like absolute dogshit. Its not difficult to set up a trade on an AWPer in the fucking open all you have to do is have 1 guy time their peek after the AWP shoots. Really basic stuff and Liquid fails.
Meanwhile Astralis played that clutch pretty well and Zywoo still out positioned them. Actively peeking the player in CT spawn and going above the smoke to find a kill before the final grenade

zywoo had to search for every peek, was low on health and with the bomb dropped.

I mean Yeah, it was very smart to push es3tag while being on 1hp, his opponent didnt expect him to push with low hp, he was waiting for his teammate to come from short but sadly died before then ZywOo used the smoke as visual cover from the CT coming short and managed to kill him before the nade hit him.
It was a genius play from him.

ZyWoo's clutch was more impressive I reckon, ZyWoo killed the last 2 with only 1 HP only and needed insanely fast reaction for it.
s1mple got a bit lucky with his clutch, Liquid players peeking one by one, but definitely not something you want to do when s1mple is the last one alive.

also the clutch has nothing to do with how good the team is, if anything liquid has better fraggers which would be tougher to face in a close quarter situation. zywoo was more situational and had more room less pressure

These are definitely not the best clutches of their careers, for either of the players. But, if we take into consideration only these 2 clutches, I would have to say that Zywoo's clutch required not just skill, but a little more mental fortitude and game sense than s1mple's clutch (both clutches needed same level mechanical skills imho, but zywoo's required more game sense and composure). s1mple was being pressured by 4 players at the same time, BUT he knew where they were coming from and that makes the clutch relatively easier, compared to zywoo. Zywoo did not have 4 players pressuring simultaneously and s1mple's might appear a better clutch, but he didn't know the positions, and lack of info is very difficult. 1 hp added to the mix, makes the clutch more iconic, and I feel I would call zywoo's clutch better:)
PS: Both these players are the only ones comparable in their levels, and both clutches were insane to pull, damn near impossible for any other player:)
100% zywoo in this instance, He had the Postplant, More HP and Astralis would not have peeked him like that on long over and over.

They're honestly not comparable ngl, they may be both 1v4s but s1mple was all about mechanical skill, where no real showcase of gamesense needed to be used. Zywoo's 1v4 was all about finding space and playing rotations, which didn't require nearly as much mechanical skill as s1mple's 1v4.

in terms of mechanical skill s1mple but as an overall clutch zywoos was more insane considering the perfect decision-making in an extremely unlikely clutch.
?They are both equal imo, both teams had weak spots to facilitate the clutch, one did it intentionally and the other didnt.
Astralis were spread out all over the map, and even with low HP, ZywOo's AWP can pick them up one by one.
Liquid NEVER should have lost there, they just didn't space their peeks well enough and s1mple hit some amazing shots to capitalize, better than the ZywOo ones actually as his shots all came from great crosshair positioning, which is still fantastic but somewhat less entertaining to watch.
so overall ZywOo > s1mple clutch in terms of game sense / awareness and s1mple > ZywOo clutch in terms of entertainment and aim

He got info from shox on first one, second he found sure by checking common angle before jumping on box, third kill he obviously knew cuz jump shot, and 4th he saw flash from short. Hp doesnt even matter that much when u have awp and u do 4 1v1s. It was good play to pick es3tag in ct but the rest was pretty standard and lucky that the astralis players werent in better positions. Good play but terribly played by everyone except magisk. S1mple play was amazing skill and on lan katowice. S1mples play better.
